We have a small, dedicated team of volunteers who make this race happen every year. However, most of them are runners, so on the actual day of the race we fall short of volunteer help! Please let us know if you'd like to participate in this fun morning by registering runners, handing out pre-registered packets, posting times, drawing for door prizes, or handing out medals. You don't need to know a thing about running. There are many jobs and we need your help!!! Thank you.
Aid station is available and water stations are located throughout the course. Bagels, fruit and drinks will be provided at the finish of the race. Door prizes will be given. Proceeds of the race go to the Culbertson July 4th fireworks show.
All races are out and back from the city park. The mile and the 5K are on mostly flat paved roads. The 10K has one hill at approximate mile 2.3 where the pavement changes to gravel road. Both runners and walkers are welcome in the mile and 5K races, and we ask for runners only in the 10K in order to wrap up the event in time for the parade! No bicycles will be allowed. No pets allowed. Strollers are welcome but must start at the back of the race line-up. In the event of a train interrupting our route, volunteers will stop affected runners and registration fees will be reimbursed.
Age Division By Gender
9 & Under; 10 -14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39, etc.., continuing in 10-year increments. Medals will be given to all finishers in all races. Gold medals will be given to top finishers in each age division for each race except the fun run. Walkers receive finishing medals, only.
